Declaration of Risk and Responsibility

I understand that my participation in activities at Area 83 adventure resort involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Natural and Environmental Risks: Sudden weather changes, slips or falls on uneven terrain, and encounters with wildlife (e.g., insects, snakes).
• Equipment and Operational Risks: Unexpected equipment failure or malfunction.
• Personal Risks: The possibility of getting lost or disoriented.

I acknowledge that these risks can be significantly increased by my own actions or omissions, such as:

• Wearing improper clothing or footwear.
• Having unaddressed physical or medical limitations.
• Disregarding instructions, rules, or safety protocols provided by staff.
• Demonstrating poor judgment or a lack of attention.

By signing below, I confirm the following:

• I will follow all instructions given by resort staff and facilitators. I understand that any failure to comply may result in my immediate exclusion from the activity without a refund.
• I am physically and medically fit to participate in these activities voluntarily and at my own risk.
• I waive and release Area 83 and its staff from any and all liability for injury, loss, or damage incurred during my visit or participation in these activities.

Declaration

I understand that, being outdoor has its own charm. However, it also brings its share of hazards. It is Important that even though the best equipment is involved and all logistics and safety measures being taken care of participants and their parents/guardians must be aware of the many possible hazards in undertaking any adventure activity; these include, but are not limited to:

• Sudden change in, and extremes of weather conditions;
• Natural Calamities like Land Slides, Floods, Avalanches;
• Fall on Steep or difficult terrain, that is dangerous or difficult to negotiate, including dense bushes, rough and slippery ground including sand and rock;
• River Crossings
• Getting Lost in Remote Or inaccessible areas;
• Encounters With Wildlife;
• Bites from insects and reptiles;
• All other risks, Hazards and dangers associated with all outdoors activities;
• Discomfort due to travel to and from activities;
• Failure of adventure and other equipments.

The following events and conditions can contribute to the inherent risks of the activities;

• Inappropriate or inadequate equipment or clothing;
• Poor Or inadequate physical fitness or health;
• Failure to obey the direction of instructors or leaders Or Facilitators;
• Failure to exercise good judgement Or due care and attention;

The best way to minimize such risks is to be conscious of them and act pro-actively. Keep learning at every opportunity and leave all ego at home. Enjoy the Outdoors for yourself, never for anyone else's opinion. It is Understood that for the safety of all members of team, every participant must be committed to the highest standards of safety and responsible behavior. Failure to do so could result in immediate removal from the activity in question. All instructions detailed by the leader/Instructor/facilitator must be adhered to at all times.

I declare that I am Medically fit and participating in the programme, perfectly aware of the risks involved. I further declare that Area 83 and any persons authorised by the above mentioned Organization in this behalf shall not in any way be liable to me Or to my dependents, legal heirs, successors Or to any other persons for any loss, damage, disability or Injury sustained by mefor death resulting from my participation in the above mentioned programme.

1. Check-in time 2 pm & check-out time 12 noon the following day. Additional charge for late check-out for room guests.
2. Guest below 21 years must be accompanied by their guardian and must produce government photo ID for entry in area83
3. Right of admission reserved. The right is reserved to order any guest to leave/vacate the premises who renders him/herself guilty of violating any of the general rules regarding accommodation and utilization of facilities or of any indecent or any other form of misconduct WITHOUT any refund on prepaid accommodation.
4. Alcohol & Drugs are strictly not permitted inside the premises.
5. Outside food & Drinks are not allowed inside the premises
6. Carrying of fire arms, bladed Or other dangerous equipment or chemicals are strictly prohibited.
7. Guests shall use the Areas/premises allotted to them for any activity and shall not enter in other activity areas of Area83.
8. Quite time is from10 pm to 8 am the following day. Loud or offensive noises dusing quite time (i.e loud music, parties and barking dogs) are strictly prohibited inside the premises.
9. Unauthorised selling of any kind of goods are prohibited inside the premises.
10. No loitering around the lake area after 10 pmto 6 am
11. Guest must strictly obey Area83 swimming pool rules displayed at the pool area.
12. The Management of area83 will not be liable if a guest becomes ill or injured. The resort can help in providing of medical assistance or, as the case may be, to arrange for the guest to be taken to the hospital atthe cost of guest.
13. Medically compromised guest (Person with disability, mentally retarded, epileptic, hypertensive etc.) and children below the age of 12 must be accompanied by their adult companion, guardians/parents at all times especially near the lake and pool area.
14. No Swimming in the Lake at any given point of time
15. Any kind of damage to resort property by any guest has to bear the damages levied by the management of Area83.
16. Room service orders for food will take a minimum of 45 mins.
17. The Management of area83 shall not take any responsibility for the loss or theft of patron's personal belongings.
18. Guests shall not misbehave or shout at the staff of Area83. Any complaints shall be brought to the notice of Management.
19. Guest are allowed to smoke cigarettes only in the designated smoking areas. Guest found smoking in the chalet is liable to a minimum fine of Rs.5,000 or the damage caused to the chalet whicheveris higher.
20. Cancellation policy- Kindly check with marketing team for cancellation charges
21. Upgrades in packages- Kindly check with front office for further details
22. Breakage/damages- Kindly check with the front office for rate card.
23. Loss of keys - rupees 1,500 will be collected towards loss of keys and changing of locks.
24. Animals /birds —do not harm or feed birds Or animals found in and around the resort
25. Pets are not allowed inside Resort.
